April Updates

6 April 2020

✨ Improvements:

  • Your Goal now saves your changes when you click directly from one Goal's sidebar to another
  • We removed that slightly pesky 'Last Login' pop-up, which would appear every time you logged in

🐛 Bugs we fixed:

  • Cloning was not working for Goals that had auto-calculate target switched on
  • When cloning a Goal, it appeared as if sub-goals were also being cloned when you were not selecting "clone aligned Goals"
  • Goal Hub was not accepting decimal point values for your target and initial
  • It was also not letting you have a negative initial or target values!
  • Drop-down menus were getting cut off if they were sitting at the bottom of the custom fields list in the Goal Hub
  • And some Drop-downs were displaying behind the text of other fields

24th April 2020

🔨 Improvements:

  • Our live chat support button has moved to the top-right of your screen to make room for our sidebar features. It will still expand from the bottom-right, and function in the same way! So don’t worry about losing the chat if you need to close it while you are talking to us 💬

  • Your goal title length will now respond to your Planner page size! This means you'll be able to view more details of your goal's title if there is room for it on your screen 🧐
  • We’ve created a webhook for a zap that tracks which users have been enabled and disabled. This helps in figuring out exactly what users you are being charged for when you receive a new user invoice
  • The performance of Snapshots when generating the ‘Historic Completion’ column has been optimized

🐞 Bugs fixed:

  • A delete icon that didn’t do anything when it was clicked has been removed from Dashboards 🚮
  • Aaaaaand last but not least, certain characters & formats didn’t translate properly when we converted  ‘goal types’ into custom fields on Templates

February Updates

24th February 2020

Improvements

  • You can now change your Tracking Type from the sidebar! Woohoo! 🤗 Just click on the type below your progress bar and a drop-down will appear.

  • If you use SSO (Single Serve Sign-On) you can now refresh your SP Certificate yourself from inside Cascade. To get there go to Admin>System>Security and click 'Refresh Certificate' when you need to!

Bugs we fixed:

  • We fixed a bug that was stopping the correct Access Control on Templates from showing.
  • Certain users were having trouble logging in if their instance had expired, but we fixed it so now everyone can log in to their profile page even if their trial expired!
  • We fixed a bunch of errors that were being thrown by various things in the system, including one that was stopping CSV exports of Snapshots that had a milestones column, and another when Focus Areas were re-aligned/deleted from the Planner.
  • Now when you delete a draft goal from the planner it stays on the planner instead of directing you to the My Goals Page.
  • Milestones in the new Goal Hub are no longer slowing your system down when you delete them, and we refined some other minor Goal Hub changes.

January Updates

21st January 2020

  • Heat Maps were burning themselves out and not able to render properly. We turned a few knobs to help them get back to looking their best, aka 🔥
  • We fixed up some code that was messing with the Audit Log on Update Widgets
  • Embedded Dashboards got homesick and started displaying Cascade’s grey backdrop wherever they were placed around the web 🌐. But we've got them to display their backgrounds as white again
  • An error when switching to demo was resolved by our code heroes... I mean the development team 🦸‍♂️
  • They also optimized how the Engage Page loads to get you on top of your engagement faster! But not too fast, we don’t want anyone to get cold feet now 💍
  • We also changed the default data for trials to be more informative and fun for new users! Note: It is super colorful and has helpful tips about strategy and Cascade tucked into the details of goals and templates

July Updates

22 July, 2019

  • If you signed up for Cascade in the past few weeks the goals bulk upload page wasn't showing.. now it is!
  • The animations on the more info icon on the widget page and the start tab of the goal designer were a little strange, we've now made them less strange.
  • The word that displayed on the side of the focus areas wasn't very generous with the characters it displayed. We have changed that now so more of your word will display.
  • When you clicked the actions button on the planner it always had a spinner whilst it loaded your exports. This  was annoying - so now it only spins if you click on the export.
  • Sometimes when you added a new user to your subscription, the amount of money that displayed would be the total cost and other times the incremental cost. This was inconsistent,  so now it will always show the incremental cost.

5 July, 2019

  • We've added a new 'Plan' column in Snapshots so that you can see which plan your goals contribute to at a glance.

  • Sorting by 'Owner' in Snapshots was sorting by user's ID which obviously no one cares about. It is now fixed and sorting by goal owner's names alphabetically (i.e how you would expect it to behave.)
  • If you've noticed a small display error when setting up your drop down attributes, it's now fixed.
  • Options shifting when you nest your attributes options is now fixed.
  • Nothing happened when you hit the CSV export button on Engage page no matter how hard you pressed it - it is working now.

June Updates

21 June, 2019

  • An error popped up when accessing the Settings > Integration page.  It now looks sexier than before and also works.
  • We've fixed the issue with saving dynamic drop down attributes in your updates or risks templates.
  • If you had a number attribute with a unit and empty value, it was displaying a weird text string instead of an empty value. This is now fixed and the attribute should be showing empty again.

14 June, 2019

  • There was a very rare case where you can align a goal to itself with drag and drop on the planner which can cause your browser to freeze and crash. If anyone has experienced this, we are sorry for crashing your browser.
  • Archived users were showing up in the template access control 'share with specific user' list. We should have known that no one really cares about archived users so they should no longer show in your list.
  • Heat map widget was showing 'NaN' as value when dealing with large number of records. This widget can process a lot more data now.
